With helmet rail mounting in mind, the Charge was designed by Princeton Tec. It offers a lower-lumen light output for close-at-hand administrative tasks when you are in the field. Like all the other MPLS Helmet Lights of Princeton Tec the Charge was created with their exclusive flexi-neck design allowing you to give direction to the light no matter the angle of your helmet.
The Charge features a single white Maxbright LED with a solid 55 lumens in a focused flood beam. That is bright enough for distance spotting but dispersed enough for close-at-hand work. The Maxbright LED is surrounded by a cluster of 3 Ultrabright LEDs that can be configurated in various colors. Chargo has a burn time of 24 hours.
With the ease of performance in exacting situations kept in mind, the user interface was designed. The Maxbright white mode requires a two-second buttons press to be turned on to avoid accidental activation. It is also dimmable, letting you control the intensity of the light.

CHARGE PRO
As well as the Charge, The Charge Pro was designed to mount to various helmet rails systems, but has become more versatile including a wide variety of mounts that allow you to use the light on all your gear. The Charge Pro runs off of a single CR123 Lithium battery, keeping it lightweight, extending burn time and standing up to colder climates. With a burn time of 40 hours, the Chargo Pro burns 16 hours longer than the Charge.
Also, the Charge Pro features a white flood light fueled by a Maxbright LED with a solid 55 lumens. While the lower-lumen administrative lighting comes from 3 Ultrabright LEDs, which are available in a number of specialty color configurations.
